It's ridiculous to think that a player of Elgin Baylor's stature can be both underrated and overlooked, yet that has always been the case. And it's a shame, seeing as Baylor could arguably be the greatest small forward to ever play the game. I've touched on his statistical brilliance time and time again, yet his style of play, size, skill and approach to the game, transcends players of his era and beyond. Ill sum things up with this, before there was a Connie Hawkins, Julius Erving, Clyde Drexler, Dominique Wilkins, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady and now Lebron James and Kevin Durant, there was Elgin Baylor.
