George Washington forward Yuta Watanabe flies in for one of his game high seven blocks
Led by senior forward Yuta Watanabe near triple double with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 7 blocks, GW knocked off cross town foe Howard University 84-75. Senior forward Patrick Steeves posted 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assist while sophomore point guard Jair Bolden and GS forward Bo Zeigler added 17 and 16 points respectively. Howard was led by freshman point guard RJ Cole's 23 point, 6 assist and 2 steal performance with sophomore guard Charles Williams posting 21 points. George Washington will travel to take on Florida State, Tuesday November 14th at 7 p.m.
