Notes – Chicago Sky signed guard Linnae Harper and forward Amber Harris after the WNBA granted the team additional hardship roster spots, following injuries to Jamierra Faulkner and Astou NDour.

Keep an eye on:

Defending Chicago’s 3-point shooting: Chicago thrives shooting from deep, leading the WNBA in three point shooting at 36.9. The Sky’s backcourt of Courtney Vandersloot and Allie Quigley is arguably the best three point shooting backcourt in the WNBA, shooting 42.4 percent and 46.1 percent respectively.

In two previous meetings, Washington held Chicago to 30 percent and 31.6 percent, both wins. With the lack of consistent inside scoring, if Washington can continue their trend of defending the Sky’s three point shooting well, they’ll be in great position to sweep the season series.

Feed Delle Donne: Stating the obvious right? However the all-star forward has had her way when facing her former team. Delle Donne is averaging 22 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5 assist on 48 percent shooting from the field, which includes a 30 point, 10 rebounds, 6 assist performance in a 93-77 win in Chicago on June 22nd. Getting Delle Donne going early and often will open things up for Washington overall in which they can take full advantage of.

X-Factors: Kristi Toliver averaging 16 points, 6.5 assist and Monique Currie averaging 10 points in two wins against the Sky.
