Remember Them Days - Gilbert Arenas Game Winner Deflates Chicago

With the Series tied 2-2 and not wanting to go back to Washington down 2-3 to a feisty but dangerous Chicago team, the Wizards came out with a sense of urgency and appeared to be cruising to a game 5 victory after building a 108-98 lead with 41 seconds left. This was a hell of a feat especially with leading scorer Gilbert Arenas having a nightmare night, shooting in the low 30's from the field and having not made one three pointer all game. However, the Baby Bulls would not go away. Chicago, thanks to some amazing clutch three point shooting from Jannero Pargo and Kirk Hinrich, would go on a 12-2 run to tie the game at 110 with 5.2 seconds remaining. Enter Agent 0. Despite his shooting woes and with a ferocious defender in Kirk Hinrich defending him. Arena calmly let time tick away and without any hesitation drove left to the left elbow and hit the game winning jumper over Hinrich and Tyson Chandler, giving Washington a 112-110 victory. Thus beginning the Agent 0/Hibachi era. Arenas finished with 16 points (5-14 FG/0-6 3FG/ 6-9 FT), 8 assist and 6 rebounds in the game five win. Washington would go on to close out the Bulls in game six with a 94-91 win.
