2018 NBA Summer League Series - Former Hoya Marcus Derrickson Shines

Former Paul VI and Georgetown standout Marcus Derrickson came strong in a 77-71 win over the Lakers after subpar outings against the Heat and Raptors to kick off NBA summer league play. Derrickson, scored 24 points (8-18 FG/4-7 3FG) and grabbed 11 rebounds, both game highs, while also being active on defense to finish with 4 steals. Remember them days - Allen Iverson gives Arizona 40 during the 1995 Preseason N.I.T

After averaging 20.4 points, 4.5 assist and 3 steals as a freshman while leading Georgetown to the Sweet 16 and earning Big East Rookie of the Year, the question coming into the his sophomore season was, what would Allen Iverson do for an encore? Iverson put an end to the suspense rather quickly. During the 1995 Preseason N.I.T, the 3-0 Hoyas faced 19th ranked Arizona who came in undefeated in their own right at 3-0. The Wildcats jumped all over the favored Hoyas, building a

Hoya Great Sugar Rodgers Scores Career High 23 Points In A New York Liberty Win

The WNBA East leading New York Liberty to most, is a team centered around Tina Charles and Epiphanny Price, with the dynamic duo positioning the Liberty to capture home court advantage throughout the WNBA Playoffs. Although, if you've been paying attention throughout the season, you would know the Liberty bring more to the table than just a Charles and Price show. Allen Iverson "Rare" Georgetown Highlights

It feels good to see Allen Iverson getting his FULL due for what he brought to a whole generation of aspiring basketball players, including myself. As special as his NBA run was, for me and im sure many would agree, his time as a Georgetown Hoya was even more special. No one (other than maybe Patrick Ewing, the late Len Bias and Steve Francis) captured the DC area as a collegian the way Iverson did. Here is a treat for you, below are some RARE clips of Iverson crossing, torchi
