DMV Is Well Represented In The Mcdonald's All American Girls Game

It seems like every year the overall talent in the McDonalds All American Girls game gets stronger and stronger. This years group of All Americans kept that notion going. In a competitive game, the East held off the West late to win the game 89-87. Playing a key part in the East victory was the Richmond native and Louisville bound Taja Cole (Lloyd C Bird HS) who finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals in the win. Cole used her quickness to keep West defenders honest all game scoring in a variety of ways. Other locals joining Cole in the game was the UConn bound Dejanae Boykins (Charles H Flowers HS) who finished with 4 points and Annapolis area star point guard Taylor Murray (Annapolis Area Christian School) posted 4 points and 6 rebounds and is committed to Kentucky. The DMV is known to be one of the strongest areas for basketball talent in the country on the fellas side of the equation, although, the ladies as you can see, more then excel on the hardwood in their own right. Watch the highlights of game below.
