Hoyas Pull Away Late to Secure 76–68 Victory Over the Revolutionaries

The Georgetown Hoyas held off a determined George Washington Revolutionaries squad, earning a 76–68 victory in a competitive matchup that featured momentum swings, impressive individual performances, and a strong response from GW after falling behind in the second half. The Revolutionaries received productive contributions from Omari Witherspoon, Lovro Urbiha, Dylan James, and freshman guard Promis N’Landu, who showed poise in the spotlight. Georgetown, however, had the advantage of a balanced attack led by point guard Jaland Lowe, whose ability to create scoring opportunities, attack the paint, and make the right reads helped the Hoyas control key stretches of the game. GW battled back from a 12-point deficit, using consecutive three-pointers from Urbiha to make it a five-point game, but Georgetown responded with timely shooting and defensive stops down the stretch.
