Things were a little harder than they had to be, credit to the visiting Winchester Storm for fighting back, however the Nova Hawks would hold on winning 120-113. Hawks led by some efficient offense from guards Christian "Boo" Jackson, Angelo Hernandez and forward Alex Harrington, jumped out to a 39-22 first quarter lead. Just when it appeared the Hawks would cruise to victory, the Storm turned up the intensity. Guard Isaac Thornton and forward Chad Moore would lead the Storm charge. The duo forced the Hawks into numerous turnovers and dominated the offensive glass, capitalizing off that extra effort with second chance points to help the Storm cut the lead to ten, trailing the Hawks 59-49 at the half. The Hawks would regroup and come out in the second half the same way they started the game, on fire. This time, it was Hawks forward Ed Jones carrying the load as he knocked down three straight triples to start the third. Storm guard Isaac Thornton scored 10 points in the period to keep the game within reach as Winchester trailed Nova 85-77 after three. In the fourth, the combo of Antonio Haymon and Angelo Hernandez proved to be too tough to overcome for the Storm, as they combined for 21 of Nova's 35 points to finish off the Storm.

Boo Jackson finished with a game high 34 points, Angelo Hernandez and Antonio Hayman added 22 a piece to lead the Hawks, while the Storm was led by Chad Moore's 30 points and Isaac Thornton 27 points respectively.

Nova Hawks will travel to take on the Bay Area Shuckers December 19th at 7pm.
