2016 PITS League Recap- Team Hylin 59 First Class 55

Led by the timely scoring from guard Nate Flowers (game high 23 points), Team Hylin came from behind to pull out an 59-55 overtime win in a hard fought contest over First Class. Hylin packed the paint forcing First Class to settle for jumpers and in the first half, the strategy paid off, holding the athletic squad to 19 first half points. Then early in the second half while holding a two point lead, First Class point guard and leading scorer D'Angelo Vaughan (11 points)went down with an injury, leaving the game. Team Hylin took full advantage. Hylin trio of Flowers, Isaac (12 points) and Peterson took turns hitting key shots down the stretch to force overtime, eventually finishing off First Class with clutch free throw shooting.
