One of the best guards in college basketball resides in Lowell, Massachusetts, and his name is Obadiah Noel. The 6'4, 190 pound junior guard elevated his game tremendously during the 19-20 season for the UMass-Lowell River Hawks, averaging 18.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game on 48.4 percent shooting from the field and a career high 39.8 percent from deep. His combination of size, high level skill and athleticism put him among the American East Conference elite, resulting in Noel being named to the All Conference First Team, the second ever All Conference First Team selection in River Hawks history. Next season, he's a sure in for preseason All Conference and All American consideration and should also be on the radar of pro scouts.
