The South Sudanese center brings elite rim protection, switchability on the perimeter, and a steadily improving offensive game that includes a soft touch and emerging shooting range. For the Washington Wizards, Maluach would provide a foundational defensive anchor and long-term interior presence to complement their young core. His ability to run the floor, alter shots, and eventually, post up and space the floor, makes him a strong fit in Washington’s rebuild, potentially forming a dynamic two-way frontcourt alongside rising forwards Alex Sarr and Bilal Coulibaly.
