Keep an eye on:

Defensive Rebounding: simple as that. With the USA undersized having only one true center in 7'0 Javale McGee on the roster, France will pose an immediate test with FOUR centers on their roster in 7'2 Rudy Gobert, 7'2 Moustapha Fall, 7'0 Vincent Poirier and 6'11 Petr Cornelie. In four exhibition games, opponents outrebounded USA, averaging 38.5 rebounds per game to USA's 32 rebounds per game. USA held opponents to 43 percent shooting from the field and forced 56 turnovers in their four exhibition contests, which shows USA's athleticism and length can hold teams down for stretches, however the remaining issues were rebounding and 3-point shooting. Teams punished USA on the offensive glass, holding a 34-25 edge and made them pay with efficient 3-point shooting, knocking down 37 percent when the US was left scrambling defensively after allowing offensive board after offensive board. USA brings depth at forward with versatility being the strength of the roster, they will have to play bigger than their 6'8, 6'9 frame to keep France in check or it will be a dog fight all game long.
