Washington Mystics Acquire Tina Charles

The Washington Mystics had been relatively quiet through a very busy Free Agency Period for the rest of the league. With the 2020 WNBA Draft just 48 hours away, the reigning WNBA Champions struck a deal that would be felt league wide.

The Mystics acquired 2012 WNBA MVP Tina Charles (pictured above) from the New York Liberty in exchange for their 2020 First Round Pick (12th Overall), along with all three of their picks in the 2021 Draft. They also added guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough in the deal.

Members of the Focus TV Team got together to talk about the move, what it means and share some of what was said during Coach Mike Thibault's availability with the media.
