I had the chance to sit down with George Washington Men's basketball head coach Jamion Christian following the Colonials first practice of the 2021-2022 season. Christian is entering his third season as the coach for GW and is looking to put together a winning campaign for the first time since the 16-17 season. Reigning A-10 leading scorer James Bishop along with senior forward Ricky Lindo Jr, a walking double-double, will lead the charge for the Colonials this upcoming season.
In our sit down, Christian discussed having a full summer and preseason once again, to fully prepare the team for the upcoming season. He also touched on the influx of talent that has transferred into the program, gave high praise to the freshmen class on their adjustments to college basketball so far and explained in detail what it will take for George Washington to maximize their full potential.
