Defense Remains An Issue As The Wizards Fall To The Pistons 97-86

Washington offered little resistance as Detroit came out on fire in the first quarter, shooting 59.1 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from 3-point range. The Pistons never were threatened as they cruised to a 97-86 win over the Wizards. Troy Brown Jr led the way for Washington with 14 points, Thomas Bryant added 11 and Brad Beal in his first game since March 10, posted 10 points. The Pistons were led by Josh Jackson who finsihed with 17 points, DeMatha alum Jerami Grant added 15 and wing Delon Wright posted 13 points.


Washington will host Detroit again Saturday, December 19 at 7pm.
