George Mason continued its surge among the Atlantic 10’s elite with an 86–80 win over rival VCU in a hard-fought battle between conference contenders. The Patriots leaned on their veteran backcourt in crunch time, as Fatt Hill (16 points, 9-for-9 FT), Kory Mincy (15 points, 5-for-9 FG), and Jahari Long (14 points, 5 assists, just 1 turnover) steadied the ship late. They were complemented by pivotal performances from Riley Allenspach, who was ultra-efficient with 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting, and Masai Troutman, who added 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists. VCU fought to the final horn behind a game-high 23 points from Lazar Djokovic and a strong all-around effort from Terrance Hill Jr. (16 points, six rebounds, four assists), but George Mason made the winning plays when it mattered most. Check out my full breakdown of the game in an all-new episode of All Around below.
