George Washington MBB Open Practice Takeaways

GW 6'9 center Sean Hansen (transfer from Cornell) and 6'2 PG Christian Jones apply defensive pressure during practice

George Washington held an open practice where select media got an early look at the 24-25 GW Men's basketball team. Right away and for the majority of practice, playing high level defense was an emphasis. Along with that, were select players who were consistent in making their mark as well as the Revolutionaries de facto leader, A-10 All Rookie Team forward Darren Buchanan Jr, stepping into that leadership role proudly, being extremely vocal as well as leading by example.

Watch below for the rest of my takeaways from GW's practice as well as post practice interviews from head coach Chris Caputo, R-Sophomore Darren Buchanan Jr and sophomore point guard Jacoi Hutchison.
