Without further delay, here is a recap of day two of Hoophall East/Slam Dunk action.

Day Two Results:

College Achieve Public Charter (NJ) vs Salesianum School (DE): 67-64

Standouts:

Shareef Jackson/ Roman Catholic HS/ 6'7/ Forward/ 2025 -

Junior big man displayed a variety of post skills inside proving himself to be a true technician as a post scorer. Cardinal Ritter struggled all game, to not only slow down Jackson as a scorer from the post and from 3-point range, where he was 2-3 from deep, but in keeping him off of the boards as well. Jackson posted a double-double in the second half alone, with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Evan Morton/ Moravian Prep/ 6'2/ Guard/ 2024 -

A fearless knockdown shooter who also thrives as a three level scorer and rebounder. Morton was unconscious from three point territory, shooting 6-8 from the deep while grabbing seven rebounds in Moravian Prep's victory over Bullis. He moves well off the ball and can create good space consistently to get a quality shot off, regardless of the size of the defender. A true reliable shooting threat.

Don Lewis/ Moravian Prep/ 6'6/ Forward/ 2024 -

Lewis is a unique talent due to his high level guard skills in an undersized big man body. Lewis used his shifty ball handling and 280 pound frame to attack Bullis from the perimeter, from the post and as a second option at point guard, in a counter, to Bullis vaunted full court press. Lewis, after going scoreless through the first three quarters (while dishing out 6 assists), scored all 11 of his points in the fourth quarter on 5-8 shooting to close the game out for Moravian Prep.

Jake West/ Penn Charter School/ 6'2/ Guard/ 2025 -

Tough minded, skilled guard who can seamlessly float between being a big time scorer or being a traditional point guard who looks to run the team, control pace and make others around him better. West, more than held his own against the ultra talented backcourt of Combine Academy in Rakease Passmore (Kansas) and Jahseem Felton (Seton Hall), leading Penn Charter in scoring in an efficient manner (8-13 FG/ 3-5 3FG) while making things tough for Combine Academy guards defensively.

Rakease Passmore/ Combine Academy / 6'5/ Guard/ 2024 -

Dynamic, explosive guard did it all in Combine Academy's victory. The Kansas commit while poised and content with letting the game come to him, used his quickness and explosive first step to get by defenders to score and facilitate at an efficient rate, shooting 6-12 from the field and dishing out five assists. Passmore also did damage defensively, helping hold Penn Charters standout guard Kai Shinholster to 4-17 shooting from the field, while pulling down 6 rebounds. Total package.
