Keep an eye on:

JA MORANT:.......Need I say more? Morant is playing at an MVP level currently and he's elevated Memphis to a new level. Morant is averaging 27 points, 7.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game on 52 percent shooting from the field and 36 percent shooting from 3-point range.....ALL ARE CAREER HIGHS. He's literally dominating in multiple aspects on both ends of the floor. Everything with Memphis starts and ends with him. Washington has to be on high alert defensively when Morant is on the floor, communicate and rotate with purpose and efficiency or he will make life miserable for the Wizards.

3-Point Shooting: is a big deal tonight for a couple of reasons. One, Memphis ranks third in the NBA in 3-point shooting percentage, hitting 36.3 percent as a team so far this season with six players converting at least 35 percent or better from deep. Secondly, Washington on the other hand, is one of the best teams in the NBA at defending the three, holding opponents to 30.7 percent shooting from 3-point territory. The Wizards are coming off a loss to Toronto where they slipped up defensively, allowing the Raptors to shoot 40 percent from deep with three players shooting 50 percent or better. Getting back to the basics defensively and keeping Memphis inefficient from deep is potentially, just what the doctor ordered for Washington to get back on the winning track.
