As a basketball player, you can have all the talent, skill and intangibles in the world but if you aren't in tip top shape, your impact will surely be limited. Of course if your impact is limited then your playing time will be as well. VCU Head Coach Shaka Smart has made it a priority, year in and year out, of making sure his team is in the best shape they can possibly be in. To maximize his trademark "Havoc Defense" he needs every player on his roster to be in the best condition possible. Let's just say mission accomplish. Below is the latest installment of the ever popular VCU men's basketball strength and conditioning series, where VCU takes you behind the scenes of their grueling off season conditioning program.
