GW Men's Puts Up A Fight, Comes Up Short At #21 Maryland 71-64

The Colonials fought hard behind the exploits of sophomore guard Joe Bamisile, grad student Brendan Adams and senior forward Ricky Lindo Jr, however, with GW going cold in the last 2:47 of the game and numerous late game miscues, Maryland seized a 71-64 victory over GW thanks to a game sealing 3-pointer from Maryland point guard Fatts Russell.

Bamisile scored a game high 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Grad student Brendan Adams added 14 points and 4 rebounds, while Ricky Lindo Jr contributed 13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks to pace GW. Maryland center Qudus Wahab posted 18 points and 15 rebounds while point guard Fatts Russell added 15 points and 6 rebounds.


GW Men's will hit the road to play UC San Diego on Saturday at 10 p.m. Eastern on ESPN+
