GW Men's survives with a 89-87 win over La Salle


James Bishop challenges La Salle's 6'10 center Clifton Moore. Bishop finished with a game high 27 points in the Colonials win over the Explorers



Junior guard James Bishop finished with a game high 27 points ( 7-14 FG/ 2-5 3 FG/ 11-14 FT) and 4 rebounds while sophomore guard Joe Bamisile added 24 points and 4 steals on 7-10 shooting from deep, finishing one 3-pointer shy of tying the school record for the most threes in a game, to help the Colonials hold on for a 89-87 win over La Salle.


La Salle sophomore point guard Jhamir Brickus led the way for the Explorers with 20 points and a game high 8 assists on 7-12 shooting from the field and 5-8 shooting from deep. 6’8 forward Jack Clark added a double double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.


GW Men's will host conference leading Davidson Saturday at 2 p.m.
